Had the moussaka yesterday, one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. My daughters had the chicken mushroom which they loved and my gyro was delicious. Our server was attentive, very friendly, and professional. The owner came out and spoke with us, made the visit even better. It's roomy! The dining room is arranged with space between tables. The atmosphere is calm, not loud and annoying. Yes some interior decor updating wouldn't hurt but the food is wonderful. I personally don't care for downtown, there's too much noise and commotion in such a closed crunched in space but I will deal with it to eat here.

First time here and it was great. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was very tasty and filling. I am definitely going back again!

The Special lamb was excellent. The rest of our group didn’t finish their dinners, because it was just okay My meal was overly salted. The owner was attentive and nice. It’s worth another try.

I love this spot. My Father is middle eastern & recommended Mario’s when I told him I was seeking good lamb in this area. Without a doubt, Mario’s serves the best lamb in town. The decor makes it a relaxing environment. My daughter & I enjoy the pool table as well after dinner. I always love a family owned business. The waitress is very kind & knowledgeable on all the dishes they serve. This is definitely a diverse spot. You can take clients here for lunch or dinner, take a date, go with family or enjoy the environment in your solitude.

Service was nice, food was horrible. The meat in the gyro tasted like rubber and the baklava dessert had freezer burn on it. The only thing edible was the salad (probably because it did not need to be cooked). Bathrooms were in terrible condition and the waitress warned us against ordering the kefta wrap (which should have been our warning since it is unheard of for a waitress to say "If you want to enjoy your meal, don't go with the kefta"). If you are looking for good Mediterranean food, you may want to spend your money somewhere else.
